Fair Use Policy

Entwine's plans are designed around honest limits: what is metered is metered openly (monitored relationships, hosted storage), and what is unlimited — such as the number of partners you invite to your portal — is unlimited subject to this fair-use policy. This page describes the boundaries that keep the platform fast, safe, and affordable for every ecosystem.

1. Invitations & outbound email

Partner and user invitations exist to connect your real ecosystem, not to send bulk mail. Invitation sending is rate-limited per organization (including resends and batch invitations, which are additionally capped per request). Sending invitations to addresses that have not consented to hear from you, or using invitations as a marketing channel, is a breach of this policy.

2. Sign-in attempts

Authentication attempts are rate-limited per network address to protect accounts against credential-stuffing and brute-force attacks. Automated sign-in traffic that is not an integration using its own credentials will be throttled.

3. AI features

AI-assisted features are rate-limited per account to keep them responsive for everyone. Automated bulk consumption of AI endpoints is not permitted.

4. Storage & data volume

Hosted document storage is metered per plan (see the pricing page for your tier's quota). Using the platform as generic file storage unrelated to your ecosystem data is a breach of this policy.

5. Automation & API use

Integrations and automation against your own workspace are welcome at reasonable request rates. Scraping other tenants' data, probing access controls, load-testing without written agreement, or circumventing a rate limit (including by rotating accounts or addresses) is prohibited.

6. How we enforce

Enforcement is progressive: automated throttling first (requests receive 429 Too Many Requests with a Retry-After header), then a conversation with you if a pattern persists, and suspension only for deliberate or repeated abuse. We will never silently delete your data under this policy.
